About

Teona Osborne Sussex Wedding CelebrantMy Background

I am a trained Wedding Celebrant and Member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants, offering bespoke, lovely ceremonies for all kinds of Civil occasions.

For the past 20 years I have worked in the Events Industry, planning and organising events including Concerts, Conferences, Weddings and Parties – you name it, I have probably done it. I particularly enjoyed planning weddings and clients encouraged me to become a trained Wedding Celebrant so I could not only plan their weddings but conduct their ceremony too. Having trained with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants, I now concentrate on performing tailor made ceremonies that are meaningful and unique to you.

What Makes a Good Wedding Celebrant?

I feel it is your day and you should have your ceremony your way, however and wherever you want it. A simple ceremony in your garden; in a beautiful woodland clearing; on top of a mountain; in a hot air balloon – I will even go underwater for you – there are no limits. I want to make the most important day of your life memorable and wonderful.

Whatever your celebration be it a Marriage, Vow Renewal, Baby Naming or any of life’s achievements and moments to celebrate – my job is to walk you through it, every step of the way.

How I work

The process begins with an informal meeting where you can decide if ‘the face fits’ and for me to answer any questions you might have. Getting to know you enables me to write a personal, individual ceremony for your approval;  a rehearsal if necessary and my services on the day leading the ceremony from beginning to end.

*IMPORTANT – I AM A WEDDING CELEBRANT AND NOT A REGISTRAR. FOR YOUR MARRIAGE TO BE RECOGNISED IN LAW, YOU MUST COMPLETE THE LEGAL FORMALITIES AT A REGISTRY OFFICE PRIOR TO THE CEREMONY.
